Featured Artist

Sarah Tina Gutierrez

is our featured artist for the East Palo Alto Urban Arts Festival!

A proud self-taught artist from the vibrant Bay Area, specifically East Palo Alto, Sarah is on a mission to beautify the world—one tattoo, canvas, and home at a time.

As a devoted mother of three, her artistic journey was inspired by her uncle, an artist who spent years in prison. His resilience ignited Sarah’s passion for social justice, and she channels that energy into every piece she creates. Whether it’s a stunning tattoo or a thought-provoking canvas, her work aims to heal, inspire, and captivate all who encounter it.

And here’s a special treat: one lucky attendee who registers to vote at the festival will win one of Sarah's beautiful paintings! Join us in celebrating her talent

Bayview Urban Arts Festival Recap

Join us as we reflect on the memorable moments from the Bayview Urban Arts Festival. Last year's festival was a perfect blend of fun, information, and community engagement, all centered around abolishing involuntary servitude. Attendees were treated to a variety of vibrant art displays, music performances, comedy, thought-provoking discussions, and interactive workshops that shed light on this important topic. The festival succeeded in not only entertaining but also educating and empowering the community to take action against injustices. Stay tuned for more inspiring events that spark conversations and drive positive change.
